LEADERSHIP PLAN

ISRAELI AND PALESTINIAN

  1. The Israelis and Palestinians who want peace must be empowered to ensure the best chance of success for this road map.
  2. This must be an Israeli and Palestinian led process. The roadmap is here, but they must be the ones who execute it and plan the details within it. This will give them buy-in to the plan and ownership of it.
  3. The Joint Peace Task Force must take a leading role in getting out information. They must always present a unified effort. Disrupters to the process will always seek to find cracks in their unity.

THE UNITED STATES

  1. Both parties should be able to get behind this plan regardless of their stances on this conflict.
    1. It must be a Bipartisan Effort so that no side can claim this as theirs. To get past this obstacle, the grassroots approach of getting ProIsrael and ProPalestine Groups to back this Roadmap should be able to make this a non-partisan proposal.
  2. The United States will have to take a more neutral approach. It can be friends with Israel, but must accept that there are maximalists within Israel that will seek to disrupt the process.
