She was a beautiful 6-year-old who had her whole life ahead of her. Unfortunately, Hind lost her life after being trapped in a car with her family members who were killed while trying to escape Gaza. On January 29, 2024, being the last family member alive in the vehicle, she made her last phone call to emergency services. "Come take me" she pleaded on the phone, "please, I'm scared, come quick. Call someone to take me please" she yelled to the operator who later on hears gunfire in the background. Hind confirmed there was gunfire in her location.  An ambulance was sent out to her, but they never made it. She was found dead in the car with her family, while the paramedics sent out to her were also killed.  All that remained were 6 bodies decomposing in a burned car. 

These men were paramedics that were sent out to help Hind Rajab. There ambulance was found completely destroyed. They risked their lives in hopes of saving a 6-year-old who was completely alone and scared. This bravery should not be forgotten. 

Shani was a beautiful young woman and a tattoo artist/influencer who was very loved and was just starting her life. Unfortunately what she thought would be a fun experience turned out to be a nightmare. She was at the Nova festival in October, when the conflict started. She was injured and held hostage, then was then paraded semi nude at the back of a truck while people cheered. Unfortunately She then was later found beheaded, her head showed major trauma from prior to her death.
